TALES OF 1928: A Selection of Folktales, Fables, and Legends from Books Published in 1928
assembled by Laura Gibbs / LauraGibbs.net
On January 1 2024, books published in 1928 entered the public domain in the United States. To celebrate, I have created this anthology of folktales, fables, and legends selected from twenty different books published in 1928.
In some countries, works enter the public domain based on the year of the author's death, so I have also included that information below in case it is needed to determine which of these tales published in 1928 are in the public domain in your country also.
