i wanted to say from the report it's useful to see from the inner richmond and the outer richmond we as a district, as a whole district, i think i would add up the over 80 -- 79-plus since the data was crunched, about 80 ellis act buildings that were, that many many seniors and family space evictions, it's probably the highest of all the different districts. i wanted to say district 1 in the report of the top 7 neighborhoods, the inner richmond and the outer richmond are fourth and fifth, so it's a huge amount of people, especially seniors and people with disabilities that we're looking at. that fear is real for people in the richmond as well. the growth in property values of homes in the richmond district coupled with excellent schools and improved public transportation and parks make it a very tempting target for many of the speculators out there that are looking to quote u.n. quote flip buildings and evict people. the high concentration of seniors in our district, i know there's a number of seniors who will be testifying in the inner richmond about 18 percent of the population are

early this month another resident as well working with me to convene the richmond no evictions town hall and efforts to defend our homes in the richmond district and really raise the awareness of renters and everyone in the richmond district of what's happening and to support solutions like the great ones that supervisor campos and others of my colleagues are presenting and the mayor as well. a recent fire at 12th and clement also damaged a number of apartment -- an apartment building that displaced 8 residents. though we're hopeful all of them will be able to return to 24r units we've seen as supervisor campos has mentioned as many buildings are not repaired in a timely manner and tenants give up and move away but it's one of the ways that land lords instead of evicting people use different tactics to push them out and it's another example of why we need better data gathering as well. lastly, i'm aware of a number of landlords that carry out what i would call unnecessary construction in order to make it for difficult for tenants to live peacefully in their units. it may not be to a leve

traffic alert issued just quickly cancelled so we're talking about richmond. there was a traffic alert issued because they had been blocking up to three lanes westbound 80 approaching cutting boulevard, still slow in the area even though they just reopened lanes within literally the last few minutes, so all the way down westbound it's still pretty stacked up but again they've reopened lanes and cleared everything to the right hand shoulder hopefully we'll begin to see a bigger improvement very shortly. a traffic alert was issued from caltran, southbound 101 grand avenue this is south san francisco, a couple of the lanes blocked here, so both of those accidents just popping up, and both causing some slowdowns. we're waiting for word when the metering lights can be turn on at the bay bridge, still looks like the middle lanes get by with no big delay once you get past the mcarthur maze so the cash lanes, they're obviously backing up looks like jamming up towards the overcrossings and that east shore freeway, because of that earlier traffic alert already up to 36

san rafael, across the richmond san rafael bridge, you will find that one slick. the bay bridge as well. it looks like the west edge of san francisco getting a bit of a break but the east section and south san francisco reporting a few light scattered showers into the east bay from pinole, richmond, oakland, hayward, all of the small communities in between along 880, 680 as we shift over into concord, san ramon, light showers reported here along highway 4 and into antioch. so again, we just got started earlier this morning. it's going to continue into today as well as tomorrow. want to head you to the hills because we have south lake tahoe where you can see mainly dry. south lake tahoe picking up showers from time to time. as i mentioned earlier, this is a warm storm. snow levels are relatively high. caltrans was out there a little bit earlier this morning but you shouldn't have any widespread delays because of the snow. it looks like the freeways up over the path are pretty much in the clear. so we'll continue to track that for you. but some of the ski resorts ar
