of attempted murder, two counts of willful injury and drug and weapons charges authorities in western iowa have arrested a bank robbery suspect. pottawattamie county deputies say this man reportedly robbed farmers- merchants state bank in neola on wednesday. then on friday officials identified the man as 37-year-old jesse specht from council bluffs as the suspect. they later located pecht at a hotel in omaha. police arrested and charged him with second degree robbery charges. a local family woke up this morning to find their deck had caught fire. norwalk fire fighters were called to this house on blue stem road around one. investigators believe the fire started on the grill and quickly spread from there. everyone was able to get out safely. west des moines fire fighters were also called in to help put out the fire. fires are becoming a major threat around the state. the state fire marshall added 6 more counties a burn ban list.....that brings the total to 18. officials say the dry conditions in those counties making things like grills or bonfires a danger to spark brush fires. we'll go now
